Amazon to Expand Again in Illinois with Two More Fulfillment Centers and 1,000 Full-Time Jobs
SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), Intersect Illinois and the Illinois Department of Commerce today announced that Amazon plans to open two fulfillment centers in Aurora, Illinois. The facilities will add more than 1,000 additional full-time jobs with benefits to the state. The company currently has fulfillment centers operating in Edwardsville, Joliet and Romeoville with another fulfillment center under construction in Monee.
