Reifman and Clayco have joined to support efforts to bring economic growth and jobs to Illinois

Intersect Illinois today announced that David Reifman, President of Clayco’s Chicago Business Unit, has joined its board of directors. Reifman will bring his experience in planning, development and economic growth to help generate investment and jobs throughout the state of Illinois.

“Clayco is instrumental in developing, designing and building projects that positively impact communities throughout Illinois and beyond,” said Intersect Illinois CEO Dan Seals. “David’s experience at Clayco and his background in economic development, including his prior experience as Chicago’s planning and development commissioner, will help advance Intersect Illinois’ efforts to generate economic growth and jobs throughout the state.”

Reifman oversees all enterprise activity for development, design and construction related activities for Clayco in the region, while also supporting Clayco’s national platform. He is also a partner in CRG, Clayco’s real estate development and investment firm and sits on its Investment Committee. Prior to Clayco, Reifman served as the Commissioner of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development, where he had a great impact on the city’s economic growth. Prior to that, he was a partner at DLA Piper, focusing on commercial, residential and industrial development, land use planning, complex real estate transactions and public-private partnerships.
