Courtney Fugate

Courtney Fugate is a Business Development Associate at Intersect Illinois, where she brings a passion for local economic growth and community engagement. Recently relocated from Raleigh, North Carolina, Courtney has extensive experience in main street economic development, having played a key role in the effort to revitalize Downtown Raleigh. Prior to working in economic development, she successfully managed various hospitality projects and focused on community outreach initiatives.

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Growing up in a military family overseas, she developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning, which she applies to her work at Intersect Illinois.
