Spot Inc., an Indiana-based logistics company, is opening a Chicago office and plans to hire 200 employees in the Windy City over the next two years.

Spot announced Tuesday that it had signed a lease for a 31,000-square-foot downtown office space at 24 E. Washington St. inside the Marshall Field & Co. building. It will take occupancy in October.

“We chose Chicago because of the city’s exceptionally strong talent network,” said Spot co-founder Andrew Elsener, in a statement. “And with our Chicago office, we can expand our key relationships with great Midwest universities while providing meaningful opportunities to a seasoned, high-quality workforce.”
