CHICAGO, IL – Intersect Illinois today welcomed Curt Bailey, President of Related Midwest to its board of directors. Bailey will bring his experience in real estate development to help advance Intersect Illinois’ mission to bring investment and jobs to the state.

We are one of the few states to top a $1T GDP, and, under the leadership of Governor Pritzker, the state is committed to growing the business community in order to bring jobs to Illinoisans,” said Intersect Illinois Board of Directors Chairman, John Atkinson. “I’m pleased to welcome Curt Bailey, who is a dynamic leader within the state’s real estate development community, and welcome his contribution to generating economic growth across the state.”

In his role at Related Midwest, Bailey leads a team of developers, architects and contractors who are transforming the way real estate is done in Illinois. Bailey and his team are the largest developers of affordable housing in the Midwest, with more than 10,000 units either owned or under development. The company is deeply committed to improving neighborhoods, creating sustainable opportunities for small businesses and residents, and building inspirational places and homes for all.

Its board of directors helps the organization generate public good with private sector efficiency.
